KRAP 2016 a great success!

The Kundabung Regional Art Prize was an outstanding day, with a wealth of artistic talent on display. Hazel Coates-Johnson took out first prize in the People’s Choice awards, for her painting ‘Kundabung Horses’, (pictured, with one of the horses’ owners). Lesley Debreceny came second with ‘Magpie and Chicks’ (pictured). Third prize went to a sculpture called ‘Moment in Time’ by Carrie Brady. There were quite a few sculpture entries this year, using a variety of materials – including ceramics, metal, plastic, glass.

Accompanying the art show was the monthly markets, so there was something for everyone. Beautiful weather made it a lovely day out, and people travelled from outside of the area to experience a great day at the hall.
